Grace: Mommy, I want Christmas today. Let's open presents.
Me: No, not today, honey. We have three more days to go.
Grace: That is just not acceptable.

Me: Why did you put a Santa hat on the dog?
Grace: She needed Christmas spirit.

There was a group of rowdy teenagers walking down the street while my daughter and I were taking out the trash. They kept using a foul four letter word. But God is so good to protect the ears of little ones.
Grace: Why do they keep yelling, "FOG!" ????
Me: Maybe they're predicting the weather.
~~~~~
Grace: "I'm funky...a funky muffin."
This is Grace's "Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital for Butterflies and Moths." She received the Butterfly Pavilion for her birthday and she has gotten a lot of use from it. She has a knack for finding injured butterflies and moths. We take them in, provide them glucose water, fresh sliced oranges along with safety from the elements and prey animals. Before the weather became too cold, we allowed them to exercise in the garden among the Marigolds. We've had five butterflies and moths come through our doors. Of those we were able to release two back into the wild successfully. The other three were given a respectful burial in the backyard.
Ah, she's my delight. Just had to share...
Grateful for Grace,
