Works for Me Wednesday - Old DK Books for Cutting and Pasting

Grace loves making books, but she doesn't like to draw. One day I came across a used Dorling Kindersley book called, "Big Book of Knowledge." It was outdated, but had absolutely wonderful photographs, perfect for book-making! This older book was only $1.00 at the used bookstore, and we have a resource that will last us all year. Since then I've picked up other old DK books for the same purpose.

Grace chooses the pictures, then cuts them out of the book and pastes them into her self-made lapbooks.

We use Dinah Zike's Big Book of Books for instructions on how to fold or assemble any particular style of book.

Works for me!

Blessings,
